I remember when I was in my preteen years I had this fascination about books. I wasn't a reader but I loved organizing books in my home. All of the story books my four siblings and I had were arranged in an order I created as if in a library. All of my siblings were readers but myself. No matter how hard I tried I just could not bring myself to be able finish a book. And then it happened, one day a friend of mine gave me a book called THE BRAR RABBITS ADVENTURES I loved rabbits and so anything to do with them was amazing to me. I finished the book in a few days and from that books started my journey as a book reader.

Are you having trouble getting yourself started to read, look around you what is your favorite topic that you like to talk about or watch or see or do. If it sports go for the sports magazines, if its comic heroes comics are the best for that. If it is history you would love reading about real life adventures of Marco Polo or Christopher Columbus and the likes. Find something you like to do and think and talk about, reading about it would make sense and you would get your reading done.
