Within the science fiction series PERRY RHODAN, far in the future, mankind has built a mighty supercomputer that resides inside of Earth's trabant, the Moon. It evolved over hundreds of years, and due to the fact that some of its compontes are organic, it has developed some kind of consciousness or - maybe - a soul. It is a reliable servant, a caretaker and a friend to mankind ... even while it sometimes acts suspicious, it would never act against mankind. It's name is NATHAN.

In the wide space of of the the PERRY RHODAN universe also operates mankind's powerful generations spaceship named SOL, and it hosts another great supercomputer - smaller, but equipped with organic components, too. And it has a soul, surely. Its name is SENECA.
